Complying with GST regulations for the state of Kerala, a new module was added a few weeks back in Ginesys POS to define and calculate Kerala Flood Cess. Similarly, this additional cess impact has now been made available in the Recalculate Tax process of Ginesys back office.

With this update, Ginesys users can request for tax recalculation in case the additional cess does not get calculated at the head office for a specific set of days in one or more of Kerala’s stores. This update has been introduced to ensure that tax calculation for Kerala stores is easy, quick, and accurate.

We all understand, retail is prone to the sudden unexpected changes in the taxation system. However, with an agile and user friendly POS & ERP, it becomes comparatively easier for retail to cope with these unprecedented changes. Ginesys, along with EaseMyGST is making retail accounting and taxation seamless for retailers.

Here are the recent examples of how Ginesys POS is a futuristic solution for retailers:

  1. Government released a new notification, a compliance requirement of deduction of TDS on purchase of goods (w.e.f 1st July 2021). Good thing we were ready in advance to facilitate this for our customers.
  2. Ginesys has recently introduced a plugin for E-Invoice generation into Ginesys POS. We all know how important E-Invoices are, watch how easy it is to enable this integration here.
