Imagine this scenario: Customer bought a product during a promotion for a discount. Later she returns to the store to exchange the size or colour. System sees the revised pricing as EOSS or end of season sales have ended and asks customers to pay the difference amount. Naturally, she would be upset. This is fairly common and we have a provision to override this and ignore the difference in pricing if certain conditions are met in the items being exchanged.
Now you do not need to handle these exchanges manually or ad-hoc (i.e. without reference to original invoice) in Ginesys POS. You can make it as a regular referenced exchange transaction.
